Fitness facility at Brunswick Landing

Former Navy Fitness Center will be re-used by the Bath Area YMCA.

The Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority recently closed on a couple of property sales.

Last week, MRRA sold lots 30 and 32 at Brunswick Landing, approximately 13 acres, for $519,000 to the Priority Real Estate Group of Topsham. This sale facilitates the construction of the 50,000 SF Avita Memory Care facility. We expect they will break ground in the coming weeks.

In September, MRRA sold 24 Venture Avenue (former Navy Building 25, the former fitness center) and an adjacent 4.7-acre lot, which includes the former Navy carwash, to TBW, LLC for $549,000.

TBW is in the process of completing renovation the building and it isĀ being leased to the Bath Area YMCA. It’s a nice facility with a basketball court, weight room, yoga instruction, aerobicĀ studios and racquetball / handball courts and refurbished locker rooms with a sauna.
