Build Your Own Hangar at BXM
There is a growing demand for hangar space in Maine’s Midcoast area. Brunswick Executive Airport, Maine’s premier business airport, already has one T-hangar building with 10 bays that is fully leased and we have a waiting list for new hangars.
Brunswick Executive Airport has 10 acres of land on the east side of the airfield along Orion Street that is available now for new construction of general aviation hangars. We also have acreage for lease to build hangars for large aircraft on the north side of the airport, near the fuel farm, and on the secluded south end of airfield.
If you’re interested in building your own hangar or a set of single-engine aircraft T-hangars to lease to other aircraft owners, we have land available for lease at very competitive rates, as low as 30 cents per square foot.

BXM land is shovel ready and these sites are easily accessed from the street via a security gate. MRRA owns the infrastructure in addition to the airport so power, water and sewer lines are already in place.
The land is right on the airfield with direct access to the flight line. FlightLevel Aviation, BXM’s fixed base operator, is right next door for easy fueling, rent-a-car and concierge services. We also have a flight school — Maine Coastal Flight. Just a block away is our new terminal building with a passenger waiting area, canteen and pilot’s planning area. Plus, there is plenty of free parking available as well.
Many different hangar configurations, from spaces for larger corporate jets to smaller hobby pilot hangars could work well on this plot of land. The possibilities are endless!
With twin 8,000-foot runways and more than 1 million SF of hangar space and ground support buildings, BXM is a world class facility that is just a five-hour flight to Europe and located just off Route 1 and Interstate 295 in Maine. BXM is a Foreign-Trade Zone.
