RollEase Extends Brunswick Landing Lease to Three Years
Window Covering Manufacturer to Continue Rapid Growth in New Innovations Center
BRUNSWICK LANDING, Maine — RollEase, Inc., a Connecticut based company and the largest independent engineered component manufacturer and distributor in the custom window covering industry, recently signed an extension to its lease at Brunswick Landing.
After making a major investment to refurbish its facility at Brunswick Landing, RollEase opened its doors for operation on April 28, 2014. RollEase, which employs 12 engineers, initially signed a one-year lease with a series of options but decided very quickly to execute on future options and commit to staying in Brunswick for a number of years to come.
“Brunswick is a great place to work and live and Brunswick Landing is the ideal location for our Innovation Center,” said Greg Farr, Senior Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer for RollEase. “The vision MRRA has for making Brunswick Landing an Innovation Hub, the like-minded businesses they have there today and their plans for opening TechPlace, make this the right environment for our Innovation Center. We are very excited to be part of this great story that is beginning to unfold here at Brunswick Landing.”
RollEase signed its original lease for 11,234 SF at 8 Leavitt Drive (former Navy Building 54), beginning April 2, 2014 for a one-year term. The new lease is for three additional years with an option for six more.
“We’re delighted RollEase opted to extend its lease,” MRRA Executive Director Steve Levesque said. “They’re exactly the kind of innovative company we need to attract here. They’ve been great to work with and we’re very pleased that they’ve been able to get up and running so quickly.”
